So I have not read Dilexit Nos, but certainly contemplating the Sacred Heart of Jesus is bound to have multiple benefits to the individual and the Church. But what I find interesting about this post, as well comments by many people on other documents issued by Pope Francis, is the statement “I have pointed out key points that allow us to read Dilexit Nos in a way relevant to the life of the Church today.”
Is there another way to read it? I certainly hope not, but Pope Francis is rarely clear. Now in the midst of COVID I watched a Papal Mass in which he preached about confession and it was wonderful. Why can’t he be clear all the time?
